Louise Richards Moulding is a professor of teacher education at Weber State University. She began her career in education as a biology and chemistry teacher, and has served in district and state level administrative positions. Returning to the classroom, even if at the university level, was a happy return to her roots. She holds a Ph.D. from Utah State University in Research and Evaluation Methodology. Her research has focused on teacher self-efficacy and metacognitive development. In addition to teaching, she is the director of the Master of Education program, has responsibility for coordinating the national accreditation process and completing federal reports for the department.
